This collection was created around the idea of a “New Woman Power”.

Starting with some consideration about 20’s and 60’s when the women began their path of emancipation. However, we can say that women’s emancipation started much earlier, in ancient Greece where were strong warrior called amazons.

During the research I found out the famous manifesto of Donna Haraway, “a cyborg manifesto”, where she explains that the difference between women and men, and the limitations of traditional gender, in the future could be resolved by the cyborg.

So, by mixing and contaminating these elements I created a new aesthetic of a strong woman.
